Coming off Sunday's win over the Mariners - just their fourth in the last 16 games - the Rays are looking to make it two in a row tonight as they take on the Blue Jays in the opener of a three-game series.

The teams played last week in Toronto, with the Blue Jays taking three of four.

RHP Chris Archer will be on the mound for the Rays, which is usually a good thing, especially given his past success against the Blue Jays. That included a solid outing on Thursday, where he allowed just a pair of home runs to Josh Donaldson, but the Rays still came out on the short end. Archer is 0-0, 2.89 in four starts against them this year; 6-4, 3.16 lifetime in 23 starts.

Though still struggling offensively, the Rays have scored nine runs in their last two games.
