Justin Timberlake announces new tour, including stop in Tampa

Justin Timberlake coming to Tampa as part of his just-announced The Man Of The Woods tour, his first since 2014.

Timberlake, whose album of the same name will be released on Feb. 2, will be performing at Amalie Arena on May 15, it was announced on Monday.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Jan. 29 at 10 a.m.

Timberlake will open the 24-city tour on March 13 in Toronto. It also includes Florida stops in Orlando, Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

It will be his first tour since the The 20/20 Experience World Tour, which sold out arenas and stadiums around the globe in 2013 and 2014. It also comes a month after Timberlake make his third Super Bowl halftime show appearance — the most by an individual artist — at Super Bowl LII on Feb. 4.

The announcement also comes out after the Thursday release of his latest single, "Filthy," off his new album.

That album offers new material that "will give a self-reflective look at his journey into fatherhood and offer up personal insight into his layered life experiences," according to a news release.

American Express card members can take part in a ticket pre-sale starting Jan. 24 at 10 a.m.

Prices will range from $49.50 to $250 and will be available at ticketmaster.com or the Amalie Arena ticket office.
